Yes! That’s… a lot. I’m always surprised when people say their retirement plan is to “work forever.” Many people say this, and many people love their jobs! But the numbers show us that even people who intend to work “forever” or until full retirement age, often do not. As humans, we are pretty bad at forecasting (and this is not just about what injuries may befall us– we’re also bad at knowing what we’ll want for ourselves a few years down the road).
